When you find a useful page, ReFind saves the title, URL, and your save reason first. AI analysis runs in the background and uses that reason to improve summaries, tags, and categories.
When analysis finishes, each bookmark card shows the full summary, tags, content category, and save reason. You can edit them later so every saved page matches your workflow.
Start with what you already have. Imported bookmarks are analyzed in the background and gradually enriched with summaries, tags, categories, and searchable context.
Open ReFind in Chrome Web Store and confirm Add to Chrome.
Download the Edge ZIP, unzip it, then load it from edge://extensions.
Download the Firefox ZIP and load it from Firefox extension debugging tools.
ReFind stores extension settings, account convenience fields, reminder interval, manual frequent-site choices, hidden-site choices, open-count cache, and import state in browser local storage. When you sign in, saved collections, open counts, recent opened times, and manually added frequent sites may sync through the configured ReFind API. Page and bookmark data is processed only after you save a page, enter a save reason, import bookmarks, sign in for account migration, delete a matching browser bookmark, or submit feedback.
ReFind does not continuously read browsing history or run scheduled bookmark uploads. It reads the current page when you save, reads browser bookmarks only for user-started import, sign-in migration, or matching-bookmark deletion, and sends only the data needed for sync, search, AI summaries, tags, categories, save reasons, and feedback.
API endpoint, account email, reminder interval, manual top sites, hidden sites, open-count cache, and import state are kept in browser local storage; account sync uses the configured ReFind API.
Bookmark import runs only after browser permission and user action. Invalid URLs are filtered, duplicate URLs are skipped, and original saved time is preserved.
Saved pages and imported bookmarks are sent to the configured ReFind service only to provide account sync, search, AI summaries, tags, categories, save reasons, and feedback handling.
Click Add to Chrome on this page to open Chrome Web Store, then confirm the official Chrome installation prompt.
